MEDICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.  Developed for a private company that furnishes nurses for in-home care on workmen's compensation claims, this application tracks all nurse employees, their certifications, their hours (standard time and overtime) spent, the patients they see, the insurance companies that are responsible for the patients, and their mileage to and from the patients' homes. It also tracks patient cases, including patient identification, insurance company data, referring doctor or hospital or health plan, diagnosis, prognosis, and expected duration of care. The application automatically generates invoices by any designated time period - weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, conclusion of contract, or designated dates. The application tracks invoice items, designating which have been billed and which have not, and it also tracks payments, account aging, and reimbursables.

Results: Dozens of man-hours saved per month, compared to keeping all these records manually in a paper-based system. More accurate invoicing to insurance companies.
