EMPLOYEE TIME CARD TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT. This
application was written for a government-sponsored facility for assisted
living for the multiply-handicapped blind. It was designed to track employee
time 24/7, including standard time, overtime, double time, and holiday time,
in accordance with state regulations. The application includes the capability
to archive data older than a designated age, and can retrieve it for later
examination when necessary. Produces bi-weekly reports that interface with the
payroll system and provide management an overview of employee activities.
Finally the application includes elaborate security to ensure privacy of all
data, and restricting access to various parts of the program based on user
login.
Results: Significantly reduced administrative overhead and more
accurate payroll and vacation data.
