Combined Activity Log (Daytime
Colors). This
is an advanced form from which the captain can enter just about any log
data with just a few keystrokes. Notice that most persistent data is
retained as default data, so the captain does not have to worry about
entering anything except the data that has changed. From this screen, the
captain can enter crew data, fuel data, miscellaneous log data, even
transmit the data to shore via satellite. |
 |
Combined Activity Log (Nighttime
Colors).
This is the same form as the one above, adjusted to colors that are less
intrusive at night. |
 |
Crew On Board Log Screen.
With this screen you can see who is currently on board, and when they got
on board. You can also see and edit their scheduled off-boat date. From
here you can also access the Crew On and Crew Off screens (detailed
below). |
 |
Add Crewmember Screen.
With this screen, the captain logs all new crew members onto the boat.
Notice that all data except the crew member name and position is
persistent, making it very easy to enter multiple crew members in one
operation. |
 |
Crewmember Off-Boat Screen.
With this screen, the captain logs departing crew members off the boat.
Notice the ability to select particular crew members, or to select them
all at once. The date and time is persistent, and will be the same for all
crew members logged off in each operation. |
 |
Fuel and Lube Log Screen.
On this screen, the captain logs all fuel and lube oil transactions.
Onloads are automatically added to the fuel balance, and records
designated as Fuel Used is automatically subtracted. Notice the running
fuel balance is displayed at each record. Lube oil works the same way, and
we are able to use a common look and feel for all liquid cargo
transactions, so there are no additional concepts to learn. |

Captain's Log -- Report. This
screen shows a sample Captain's log, a report that is viewable on-screen
or printable right on the boat. The log is dynamically compiled from all
other log data entered. This data is transmitted to the shore via
satellite, where the users in the office can instantly create an absolute
duplicate of the log on the boat. The data in the tables that comprise the
log is also used for other management reports. |
