VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS DATABASE. This application provides tracking for a fleet of over 1000 large industrial vehicles, to include all data about that vehicle (weight, length, capacities, etc.) and the current status of each vehicle, such as active, under repair, sold or destroyed. The application provides the capability to provide a list of vehicles that fit designated specifications (example: "Which vehicles are at least 5000 hp and have a 3-ton winch?"), and will print a preformatted specifications sheet for any vehicle in the fleet. The specification data for each vehicle is dynamically updated for each vehicle, so if, for example, a vehicle undergoes an upgrade to add equipment, the next specification sheet printed will show the upgrade. The application will also export the specification sheet, complete with formatting, into a Microsoft Word document so that sheet may be included with other Word documents, such as contract bids.

Results: Thousands of man-hours saved in manual updates of specifications sheets and distribution of the sheets; significantly more current and reliable specifications data immediately available to all users.
